This would have to be the most stunning view of a golf course in the world!! I followed an overgrown path after visiting a Chinese Cemetary and came out of the jungle here.

Christmas Island is in the Indian Ocean Territory of Australia. It's about 360 km south of Jakarta, Indonesia, and a 3 hour 40 minute flight from Perth. Our local population is largely Chinese, followed by Malay. The rest of us fall into the minority. If you enjoy the virtual tour here, you should come and visit. The real thing is always better :-)

Sure is stunning, but no good for me - it would cost me a fortune in "lost overboard" golf balls.
Hahaha :-) Apparently the crabs knick off with the golf balls because they think they look like eggs. There is meant to be a rather large Coconut crab that comes and sits in the middle of the course at night. I am going to have to investigate to find out how big he is.
