Black Coral

I entered this macro in the art competition after putting a paint filter over it. It didn't win anything. The winning photos were awesome - out of my league.

Ryan's Ravine

The corals that grow along the sheer walls around the drop-off are absolutely gorgeous.

Stony coral

If you look carefully you can see lots of fish hiding deep in this corals fingers. I took this shot on my night dive.

Orange anemone fish

Pink Anemone fish

These fish flit in and out of the safety of the anemone making it difficult to photograph them. I had to take lots of photos to get this one.

Anemone

A close-up of an anemone that has bleached. When water becomes too warm, corals become stressed and expell their algae. If the waters don't cool off soon enough, the bleached corals will die.

Fusiliers

This school of Fusiliers won me second prize in the Novice/Trial Camera section of the Underwater Festival. Although I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with a $500 voucher for video housing. A voucher for camera housing would have been more useful.

Spinner Dolphins

Swam with a large pod of Spinner dolphins this morning. The only down side to this awesome experience was the choppy conditions and poor visibility. So this is the best photo from a batch of mostlty fuzzy grainy shots.
