Christmas Island is in the Indian Ocean Territory of Australia. It's about 360 km south of Jakarta, Indonesia, and a 3 hour 40 minute flight from Perth. Our local population is largely Chinese, followed by Malay. The rest of us fall into the minority. If you enjoy the virtual tour here, you should come and visit. The real thing is always better :-)

This is such an unusual but gorgeous looking fish. I must be awsome to swim amongst the coral with all the sea life. It's a whole different world under the sea :-)
I love it! It's been a week since I've been swimming now, but I have been so busy unpacking everything. We are having a House Warming party this weekend, so I probably won't have time to go swimming in the next few days either. And the swell has come up lately, so I'm not sure there will be many opportunities to swim over the next couple months. When the monsoon season ends, it will be better.
