Our friend Linda sent a couple photos that she took. So for a change I get to post a photo of me :-) This is the ladder that we had to climb to get to the upper chamber of Daniel Roux. Only 1 person is allowed on the ladder at a time.

Well, you're smiling so it must have been fun. Or is than a grimace of pain?
Whenever they mention Christmas Island on the news, I think of you and Simon and Michael. It sound like the island is going to explode with people, the way the boats are going.

yes, it's a smile not a grimace :-)
The way things are going, in another month they will be turning asylum seekers away. There is only room for about another 100. So unless DIAC hurry up and finish processing large numbers, there is going to be a problem.
On the bright side, Simon says he has met one of his key goals - to increase the Island's population :-)
