This cucumber was threaded through some coral. Even though its body was exposed, it kept trying to hide its head. It probably didn't like me shining a torch at it or firing my camera flash at it.

Christmas Island is in the Indian Ocean Territory of Australia. It's about 360 km south of Jakarta, Indonesia, and a 3 hour 40 minute flight from Perth.
